Department of Orthopaedic Surgery

The Department of Orthopaedic  Surgery was started in 1975 with requisite faculty and infrastructure  .
Initially  two separate  wards were started for male and female Patients. Operation theatre with 2 high quality image intensifiers and  C arm Compatible Operation tables.
Surgeries under Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme has been started in February-2012

Arthroscopy
  • Cubitus-varus, Genuvalgum, clubfoot
Soft tissue surgeries-  tendon repair, tendon lengthening and Bursa Excision.
